There was a collision of a different kind on Scuttlehole Road near the Moira River in Thurlow ward.
Belleville police responded just after 5 a.m. Tuesday after a pickup truck hit a cow.
The cow died on impact but the truck driver was uninjured.
The pickup had to be towed from the scene.
Meanwhile, one of Belleville’s Automated Licence Plate Readers picked up on a stolen vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
Police arrested and charged two people from Hamilton.
