Get your spoons ready – downtown Belleville’s beloved 21st annual Savour the Chill event is back on Saturday, Feb. 22.
The soup-tasting event sees downtown Belleville restaurants battle it out for the coveted People’s Choice Award, voted by the public, and the esteemed Judges’ Choice Award, selected by a panel of expert judges.
The fun kicks off at noon and runs until 3 p.m. or until quantities last, giving everyone the perfect excuse to bundle up, stroll through downtown, visit shops and attractions and, of course, indulge in mouthwatering soups from favourite local restaurants.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own spoon to help reduce waste.
