Quinte West OPP have charged three people in connection with a robbery.
Police responded to an incident on Adrian Court in the City of Quinte West on Monday, January 13.
It was determined by police that three people took a taxi from an address in Belleville to a location on Adrian Court where the taxi driver was assaulted, and the taxi fare was stolen.
Quinte West OPP, with the help of the Crime Unit, were able to identify the three suspects.
The Belleville Police Service located and arrested the individuals on Friday.
Thirty-three-year-old Brandon Wase, 40-year-old Kenneth Felker, and 31-year-old Christopher Gray, all from the Quinte area, have been charged with one count of robbery with violence.
Wase and Felker also have been charged with one count each of failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused were held in custody for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
