A 55-year-old Cobourg man is facing multiple charges in relation to a break and enter.
On Thursday, January 16, 2025 at approximately 4:00 a.m., a man entered a business on William Street in Cobourg and stole several food items.
At approximately 1:00 p.m., the same man reattended and stole more food items.
Police identified the suspect on video surveillance, and the man was located and arrested
As a result of the investigation, the 55-year-old Cobourg man was charged with:
– Breaking and entering
– Theft under $5,000
– Possession of Property obtained by Crime
– Failure to comply with probation order.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
