Quinte West Fire and Rescue’s Ice Water Rescue Team brought a woman back to shore from the Trent River Thursday afternoon.
Emergency Services received multiple 911 calls about woman on the ice near open water in Trenton.
Along with firefighters from Station One, Quinte West OPP and Hastings Quinte Paramedics also attended the scene.
The woman was brought safely to shore around 2:30 and has been taken to hospital.
No other details have been released.
