UPDATE:
Highway 7 has finally re-opened, following a fatal crash Monday morning
Around 10:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to Flinton Road, northeast of Tweed, for a crash between a transport and passenger vehicle.
Highway 7 was closed between Highway 37 at Actinolite and 41 at Kaladar.
The roadway was re-opened around 9:00 p.m..

Ontario Provincial Police say Highway 7 is closed at Flinton Road, northeast of Tweed, where emergency crews are on the scene of a serious two-vehicle collision involving a transport and passenger vehicle.
It happened sometime after 10 a.m. Monday.
In a post on X, police say to expect significant delays and ask motorists to avoid the area to allow first responders to do their work.
Highway 7 is closed from Highway 37 to Highway 41.
One person is believed to have died.
