A pre-trial date has been set for a Prince Edward County man who faces 40 charges in connection with a fraud investigation involving more than $500,000 in losses.
Sixty-five-year-old Paul Marconi was initially charged in July of last year following a lengthy investigation into offences dating back several years with numerous victims.
Prince Edward County OPP say further charges were laid late last year when more victims came forward.
Marconi is the former vice president and general manager of Casa Dea Estates Winery.
The case was before the court in Picton on Wednesday.
The judicial pre-trial is expected to begin February 19.
