A top Quinte area engineering firm is making a large investment in the United Way Hastings and Prince Edward.
On Tuesday, Taskforce Engineering announced a contribution of $100,000, in a gift they describe as an opportunity to honour the community.
Director of Engineering and Business Development Hillary Murphy says the support underscores the company’s commitment to the community that has entrusted them with the revitalization of the Memorial Arena in downtown Belleville.
She says the act is less about the sum and more about the shared values of stewardship, trust, and giving back.
