The City of Belleville’s Automated Speed Enforcement cameras are moving to new locations this week.
Cameras will now be set up in Community Safety Zones on:
Ashley Street in Foxboro (from Ducette Road to Old Madoc Road)
Dundas Street East (from George Street to First Street)
Palmer Road (from Bridge Street West to Dundas Street West)
Sidney Street (from Moira Street West to Bridge Street West)
Signs have been in place at those locations for the last several weeks warning of the upcoming enforcement.
The city’s Automated Speed Enforcement program began in July.
Four cameras will rotate among the city’s 11 Community Safety Zones.
Motorists driving above the posted speed limit may be detected by the camera, and a fine will be sent to the registered owner of the vehicle.
