A motorist has been charged with stunt driving after being clocked at 153 km/hr on Highway 401 in Quinte West today.
A member of OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement in Quinte West stopped the driver in the eastbound lanes.
The driver received an immediate 30-day driving suspension and a 14-day vehicle impound plus a day in court.
OPP say a conviction will mean a minimum $2,000 fine, six demerit points and a one-year driving prohibition.
