The Belleville General Hospital Foundation has announced that local resident James Gordon is the grand prize winner of a 2024 GMC Terrain as part of the Car4Cancer Lotto.
In a release, the hospital foundation says this year’s Car4Cancer Lotto sold over 5,800 tickets, raising more than $120,000 for regional oncology care programs at Belleville General Hospital.
“Car4Cancer is not just a lottery; it’s an opportunity to support our community and fund essential cancer care services,” said Steven Cook, executive director of BGHF.
“With one in two Canadians expected to face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, providing high-quality oncology services in Belleville is crucial. The funds raised through Car4Cancer are making a real difference, ensuring our local hospital has the necessary resources to continue the fight against this devastating disease.”
BGHF says a new super draw will launch this month.
