A Cobourg woman has won $1 million by playing ENCORE.
Sharon Hessin matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the November 23, 2024 LOTTARIO draw to win.
Sharon, a realtor, has been playing the lottery with OLG for more than 20 years.
“I was at home when I started scanning my tickets on the OLG app. When I checked my LOTTARIO ticket, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” Sharon recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her windfall. “It wasn’t until I spoke with an OLG representative a few days later that the reality of my win began to sink in. I kept repeating to myself, ‘This is unbelievable!’”
With her winnings, Sharon looks forward to retirement and the opportunity to travel a lot more.
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on King Street West in Cobourg.
