2025 begins Wednesday and various municipal new year levees will be held throughout the area.
In Belleville the levee starts at 11 a.m. in the gym at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Mayor Neil Ellis and council will greet residents there and afterward there will be a free public skate at the Mackay Arena from 12:15 to 1:45.
Meanwhile, Prince Edward County’s levee will be held this Sunday (January 5) and will also feature a free public skate.
It starts at 1 o’clock at the arena in Picton.
And Quinte West will celebrate the new year with a skate and social on Sunday January 12 starting at 10 a.m. at the arena in Trenton.
