2025 should be a big year for Hastings Lennox and Addington MP Shelby Kramp-Neuman.
She says the country is ready for change, having lost faith in the Liberal government and her Conservative party will be ready whenever an election happens.
She says this may be one of the most important elections this country has ever faced.
“You often hear every election is important. It’s a vital part of our democracy in Canada. But, in all sincerity, the stakes have never been so high. And the most common question I get is, ‘Shelby, when is the next election?’ The reality is the election will be at some point in 2025 and it is imperative – it’s more imperative than ever – that we move forward.”
Kramp-Neuman is also ready for her riding to receive the federal support it deserves.
She says she will work harder than ever to get funding for services and projects across Hastings Lennox and Addington.
“And with that, in role of opposition, I’m not securing funding for all these different projects that are happening throughout the riding. If indeed, and when we form government, it is my intention to advocate and work as much as possible with all the different municipalities so that we can move forward together.”
An election has to be held on or before October 20.
