Belleville police are asking for the public’s help locating a stolen vehicle.
Police attended a residence in the city’s east end on a report of a stolen vehicle at around 7:50 a.m. on Boxing Day.
Officers learned that on Christmas Day, the homeowner had invited two people over to their residence whom he had recently met online.
Both persons left the home later that evening.
The homeowner is then said to have woken up the next morning to learn that the keys to his vehicle and his car had been stolen.
The vehicle is described as a white 2009 Hyundai Elantra with black rims and black door handles.
License plate on the vehicle is DCDZ 462.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicle are asked to contact Belleville Police.
