A 29-year-old male remains in a life-threatening condition after a single-vehicle collision in Clarington.
On Saturday, December 21, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., members from East Division were called to Station Street in Orono for a single-vehicle collision.
A 29-year-old male from Orono had been operating an off-road vehicle (ATV) when he lost control and was ejected from the vehicle.
As a result of the collision, the male suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital by paramedics.
The male was then transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre by ORNGE Air where he remains with life-threatening injuries.
Members of the DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene and investigated the circumstances of the incident. The area of the roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
The collision is still under investigation.
