A Bancroft man is facing a lengthy list of charges after Bancroft OPP officers found a large amount of drugs in his possession.
On Friday morning, officers visited a residence to pick up essential medication for a person who was already in custody. While there, police found a person who was wanted by police and arrested him. After searching the man, police found 104 grams of suspected fentanyl, 11 grams of suspected cocaine, 11 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 16 grams of suspected heroin, 17 pills suspected to be oxycodone, and $2000 in cash.
Thirty-three-year-old Mitchell Grimes of Bancroft was charged with three counts of failing to comply with a release order, and five counts of possession of a schedule one substance for trafficking.
The suspect is being held in police custody, pending a bail hearing.
