Victim Services of Hastings, Prince Edward, Lennox & Addington Counties has announced who will replace outgoing Executive Director Leah Morgan.
Morgan, who has served in the role since 2022, is departing in January to join Three Oaks Foundation as their executive director.
Stella Weese has been appointed as executive director at Victim Services HPELA and will officially assume the position on January 6.
Victim Services HPELA provides support and advocacy for victims of crime and traumatic circumstances.
Jeannie McQuaid, chair of Victim Services HPELA’s board of directors, expressed gratitude for Morgan’s leadership, “Leah has been an exceptional leader, and her vision and dedication have left an indelible mark on our organization – we are so thankful for her contributions and wish her every success in her new role.”

Weese brings a wealth of experience in the social services field, including fifteen years as a crisis response coordinator for Victim Services HPELA. As a champion for community-driven solutions and victim advocacy, Stella is committed to furthering Victim Services’ mission of empowering and supporting victims.
