A single-vehicle collision has led to a driver being charged with impaired operation.
Prince Edward County OPP were called to the collision on County Road 12 in Prince Edward County around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday.
As a result of an investigation, 25-year-old Kevin Elliot of Prince Edward County was charged with the following:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released from custody and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on January 8, 2025.
He also had his driver’s licence suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
