Northumberland OPP are searching for two males following a home invasion and robbery early Friday.
Around 3:50 a.m., police received a dropped 911 call from a residence on Dudley Road in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.
Police learned that a number of individuals had entered the property and assaulted the complainant.
The suspects were gone before police arrived.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries and then transported them to hospital.
Among the items taken was some jewellery.
The scene was secured by officers as Forensic Identification Services and the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit attended to assist with the investigation.
Investigators are asking for anyone with information or exterior home surveillance/door cameras or were in a vehicle in the area with in car video and may have seen some suspicious activity to please contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Peterborough & Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 705-745-9000.
