The Maurice and Marilyn Rollins Foundation is stepping up to help raise money for the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Scope for Hope Christmas campaign.
TMHF hopes to raise more than $128,000 to purchase six ureteroscopes for the Cystoscopy Clinic.
Each unit costs $21,346.
Every dollar donated to the campaign will be matched by the Maurice and Marilyn Rollins Foundation, up to $40,000.
Serving more than 4,000 patients annually, the equipment is essential for performing minimally invasive surgeries, particularly in diagnosing and treating conditions like kidney stones, bladder cancer, and other urinary tract cancers.
“With the Rollins Foundation’s matching pledge, we are calling on our community to rise to the challenge,” said Lindsay Butcher Dodds, executive director of TMHF. “Your support ensures that we can continue providing exceptional healthcare close to home.”
Due to ongoing postal service delays, TMHF is making it easier for donors to contribute.
Volunteers are available to pick up donations from those who are unable to drop them off themselves. Contact the foundation to arrange a convenient pick-up time.
Also, community members can donate on the foundation website, sending an e-transfer to info@tmhfoundation.com, calling (613) 392-2540 Ext. 5401, or visiting in person at 242 King St., Trenton.
