A bad surprise during renovations at the former Banquet Centre at Belleville’s Alhambra Square has changed plans for the opening of The Bridge Integrated Care Hub.
During renovations, which began in August, workers discovered serious damage to some of the roof trusses.
Plans have been made for repairs but drop-in services from Bridge Street United Church will have to be relocated to a temporary facility at Alhambra Square on April 1 while work continues on the permanent building.
The Bridge Hub will be partially open by September and should be completely finished by December.
