The Children’s Foundation kicked off Giving Tuesday with its annual Angel Tree program.
The event focused on celebrating the spirit of generosity and bringing joy to local children and youth of Highland Shores Children’s Aid for the holiday season.
An EV Hummer had been set up at the Peter Smith GM dealership with new, unwrapped toys for younger children or gift cards for teenagers.
Monetary donations were also received that will be used to buy gifts and meals for local children and families of Highland Shores Children’s Aid.
The total amount donated is expected to be announced in the next few days.
