A new chair and vice-chair were acclaimed at ALCDSB’s inaugural meeting of the board on Tuesday.
The Board of Trustees has acclaimed Brian Evoy as chair of the board and Joanne Belanger as vice-chair.
“Let us all embrace this new year with hope and determination. Let us inspire one another to strive for excellence in all that we do,” said Evoy in a release.
“I am honoured to serve as your chair, and I look forward to working alongside each of you to make a positive impact in the lives of our students and our community.”
Also acclaimed at the meeting was the chair of the Finance and Operations Committee, with that role going to Shawn Murphy.
