Northumberland OPP are initiating the “Campbellford’s Stuff a Stocking for Seniors” with a mission to bring a little holiday cheer to those senior citizens living in retirement residences and nursing homes within Trent Hills.
The goal is to fill stockings with holiday gifts to help combat loneliness and isolation that can affect seniors living in care facilities, away from family.
People are asked to drop off stocking fillers geared toward seniors at the Northumberland OPP Detachment in Campbellford located at 20 Industrial Drive, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or at Campbellford Veterinary Services located at 176 Bridge Street West during their hours of operation.
The campaign runs until Friday, December 13.
