A new reality television series is in production, and will put the wildlife of the Quinte region on display.
Picton-based producer Jennifer Lester Mulridge partnered with Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre in Napanee and a Belleville-based production company to produce the show. The five-part series has a focus on the rescue and rehabilitation work that takes place at Sandy Pines, showing viewers both the animals in need, and the people working to help them.
The current title is “Wildlife ON: Sandy Pines.”
Lester Mulridge said it’s exciting to be planning next steps in production.
“I’m forming a fantastic team to collaborate on some fun storytelling with a socially responsible message: that all of nature is interconnected,” said Lester Mulridge.
The show is set to begin filming in 2025. No official release date has been announced.
