Northumberland OPP have made an arrest following a report of an assault.
Police received a complaint of an assault at a location on Alice Street in Brighton on July 15, 2024.
Emergency Medical Services also attended at the same time as officers and the victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
After an investigation, an arrest was made on Thursday.
Thirty-eight-year-old Ryan Pocknell of Trenton was charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
