Northumberland OPP have charged an additional person in relation to an assault at Warkworth Institution.
On July 26, OPP received a report of an altercation that had occurred the previous day between two people.
The incident resulted in one person being taken to a local hospital with non-life-altering injuries.
Police arrested and charged one of the individuals on November 14, 2024.
A 46-year-old male from Brighton, who was not identified by police, was arrested and charged on Thursday with assault causing bodily harm.
The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
