Sometime during the early morning hours of November 21, unknown suspect(s) entered vehicles on Alexander St. and stole a number of items.
At one location, suspect(s) smashed the window of a vehicle and stole a bicycle, clothes and a vacuum.
At a second location, a vehicle was entered where cash and power tools were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact Belleville police at 613-966-0882.
Police are reminding residents that leaving valuables inside your vehicle in plain sight makes them targets for thieves.
Items such as purses, cellphones, wallets, cash, sunglasses, GPS units and power tools are all items that thieves are looking to steal. If there are items that you absolutely must leave in your vehicle, secure them in the trunk or at a minimum, ensure they are out of sight.
