A Cobourg man and Grafton woman are facing impaired charges after police responded to a business on Tuesday night.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at approximately 10:40 p.m., police were dispatched to a business on Elgin
Street West for the report of possible impaired driving.
Police attended and located two individuals in their respective vehicles matching the descriptions provided.
As a result of the police investigation, a 29-year-old Cobourg man and a 26-year-old Grafton woman were arrested and charged with operation while impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80mgs.
Both were released on undertakings, both received a 90-day licence suspension, and their vehicles were impounded for seven days.
The Cobourg Police Service encourages the public to report suspected impaired driving by calling 911.
