A number of COVID, cold and flu care clinics have been scheduled across the Quinte region to help reduce the spread of respiratory viruses.
The seasonal clinics are open to everyone, including those with and without a primary care provider.
Those experiencing respiratory symptoms such as fever, sore throat, sinus congestion, new or worse cough or shortness of breath, with or without vomiting or diarrhea, can now book an appointment and be seen in person by a physician or nurse practitioner at one of the clinics.
Appointments must be booked in advance, no walk-in appointments are available.
Individuals are reminded to bring their Health Card and a list of current medications to appointments.
Details of the clinics are as follows:
- Bancroft: Bancroft Community Family Health Team (Tuesdays 5 pm – 8 pm & Saturdays 11 am – 2 pm)
- Belleville: Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre (Mondays & Fridays 5 pm – 8 pm)
- Picton: Prince Edward Family Health Team (Thursdays 5 pm – 8 pm)
- Trenton: Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre (Sundays 9 am – 12 pm)
