The Wellington Dukes defeated the Buffalo Jr. Sabres 5-3 on Friday night.
Ethan Murray, Ryan Schaap, and Zach Mascard scored for the Dukes.
The Jr. Sabres opened scoring in under a minute of play before the Dukes came back to take their first, and bring a 1-1 tie into the second frame. During the second, the Jr. Sabres took one goal, before the Dukes grabbed two and took the lead. During the third, the Jr. Sabres tied up the game with their last goal of the night, before two goals by the Dukes put them back in the lead to win the game.
The Dukes are back in action tomorrow to face the St. Michael’s Buzzers.
