Theft Arrests
A couple in their 20s is facing multiple charges after information was brought forward about a series of thefts at a Peterborough business.
Officers with the Community Focused Investigation Response Support Team (FIRST) Unit were made aware of a significant number of incidents between January and June of 2024 while the suspects were employed by the business. After reviewing the information provided, the officers located the suspects and they came to the police station on Thursday, November 14, 2024, to turn themselves in.
As a result of the investigation:
A 25-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Theft under $5000 X19
A 27-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Theft under $5000 X16
The accused were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court November 24, 2024.
