The number of people identified by Hastings County as being homeless increased in the third quarter of this year when compared to the three months previous.
In the July through September time period at least 232 people were listed as homeless, up from 197 in the second quarter.
One hundred forty-seven of the 232 were identified as chronically homeless, an increase of 11.
On the positive side, 19 people were able to find housing in the third quarter.
