Since the renovations began, students have been housed at the former Sir Winston Churchill Public School on MacDonald Avenue.
The original timeline had students moving back in for September 2023, however, Director of Education David DeSantis says availability of supplies and contractors set the completion back.
DeSantis says according to the senior manager of Plant and Planning, they anticipate to move back in on Monday December 16 and staff will have the ability to move in over the course of a weekend.
He adds they are currently working on getting city approvals.
