Three ambulances and multiple Belleville police cruisers responded to Grace Inn Shelter on Church Street in Belleville this morning after an altercation.
The incident occurred just after 5 a.m., and involved at least two people, one male and one female.
The incident originally occurred outside the former Salvation Army building on Pinnacle Street before the people involved moved towards the shelter.
