The Wellington Dukes dismantled the Cobourg Cougars 8-2 on Friday night.
Jared McNeil, Ryan Schaap, Zander Latreille, Cory Jewitt, and Ryan Castle scored for the Dukes. Ryan Schaap earned a hat trick.
The Dukes got started with a goal after just a minute of play, followed by three more before the Cougars got on the board with two back-to-back goals. In the second, the Dukes took three more unanswered goals, before another two in the final period, to win the game.
The Dukes are back in action Saturday night, against the Lindsay Muskies.
