Quinte West building activity was up in October.
The municipality’s Building Department issued 79 permits with a construction value of $23.3 million last month, a significant increase from the 50 permits worth $13.9 million in October 2023.
Thirty-nine of last month’s permits were for new residential construction.
Through October 31, the City of Quinte West has issued 534 permits worth $168.6 million in construction.
