It was a beautiful day Tuesday and despite how warm it was the high temperature record for a November 5 in the Quinte region still stands.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton the mercury rose to 20.8 degrees Celsius around 3 p.m., however, the record high for a November 5 is 22.1 degrees set just two years ago in 2022.
Meanwhile, it’s possible a new record could be set Wednesday with forecasts calling for a high of around 20 degrees. The current record for a November 6 locally is 20.6 degrees set 84 years ago in 1940.
