Halloween is in the rear-view mirror and the focus has shifted to the Christmas holiday season.
The CPKC Holiday Train will again tour through Canada and the U.S. from November 21
until December 20 collecting donations for local food banks at each stop.
Professional musicians will play free concerts from the stage on the brightly lit train.
The Holiday Train will be in the Quinte region November 29, first with a stop in Belleville on
Keegan Parkway at 9:30 a.m., then in Trenton on RCAF Road at 10:45, and finally in Brighton
at 11:45 on Prince Edward Street.
Performing at each of the local stops will be Tyler Shaw and Shawnee Kish.
Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $24.3 million and collected approximately 5.3 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S.
