There was a shooting in Frankford early Thursday morning.
OPP, firefighters, and Hastings Quinte Paramedics responded at around 2 a.m. to Frankford after reports a woman had been shot.
She was injured and taken to hospital.
Shortly before 3 a.m., OPP issued a Shelter in Place order as they searched for a male suspect believed to be armed and dangerous.
An hour later police lifted the order saying there was no further threat to public safety.
OPP have blocked off a section of Belleville Street.
