CFB Trenton’s 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron will be conducting a joint exercise in Six Nations of the Grand River, Ontario on Friday.
The K-9 Unit and the Emergency Medical Services of the Six Nations of the Grand River community will participate in this joint exercise, which is aimed at enhancing air and ground search techniques, administering first aid, and remote access ambulance evacuation.
This type of exercise helps prepare the squadron’s teams to respond to distress calls that often save lives.
All efforts will be made to minimize disruption to the communities.
Some aircraft from the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) are larger than many passenger airplanes and may appear to be flying lower than they actually are.
RCAF aircrew adhere to strict rules and regulations at all times to ensure safety.
