Ridership on Belleville Transit buses continues to increase after the implementation of a new route system five months ago.
There were 166,400 people who used the buses last month, up from close to 161,000 in September of last year.
The number of Belleville Transit riders has been steadily increasing since 2019, with the exception of 2021, a year that featured widespread COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns.
