A Stuff the Bus event is taking place in the parking lot at Trenton United Church on Saturday.
The church is stuffing the bus for the warming centre within the church.
The following items are needed for the centre:
Priority: backpacks, socks, underwear, sweat pants, sweat tops, t-shirts, long johns, underwear, sweaters, outerwear including hats, gloves and scarves
Food: individual servings, easy to carry, easy to prepare i.e. fruit cups, pudding cups, granola bars, cup-a-soup, instant oatmeal, snack size portions of crackers, cookies, chips etc.
Miscellaneous: hygiene items such as: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, feminine hygiene products
Pantry: tea, coffee, hot chocolate, coffee whitener, sugar packets, juice boxes, peanut butter
Other: laundry detergent, dryer sheets, laundry baskets, lightweight blankets/throws, chargers for phones, puzzle books (word search, jigsaw etc), colouring books with crayons/colouring pencils
Stuff the Bus will go from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
