The Quinte Home Builders’ Association is honouring deserving local home builders, renovators and suppliers with a new awards program.
The ACE Awards – the industry’s awards for construction excellence – are an updated and improved version of the organization’s former president’s awards gala and holiday celebration, and will be handed out at a special gala in late November.
Industry members, partners and the public are invited to submit nominations to honour exceptional contributions, excellence and achievements in construction.
Nominations are being accepted until October 30 for the following industry categories:
– Builder of the Year
– Developer of the Year
– Renovator of the Year
– Trades Contractor of the Year
– Supplier of the Year
– Service Professional of the Year
– Community Partner of the Year
– Municipality of the Year
– Under 40 Industry Entrepreneur of the Year
Winners will be revealed at the Awards Gala on November 29 at the National Air Force Museum.
The theme of the gala is Denim and Diamonds.
The evening will include dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions and will be emceed by Rock 107 morning show host and professional mentalist Buzz Collins.
Proceeds from the event will support the Quinte Careers in Construction Fund, which promotes careers in construction trades as a viable career option through scholarships.
