The Diwali Festival will be returning on October 20.
Belleville City Council dealt with several items involving the festival at its meeting on Tuesday.
Among them was a resolution to waive a food truck by-law between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday.
Live music will also take place on Market Square during those hours.
The festival was marked as a Civic Celebration, allowing for licensing of hawkers, peddlers, street vendors etc., for the event.
