With rainfall ending and dark clouds moving away, day two of the Quinte International Airshow is set to have much nicer weather than the first.
Record-breaking rainfall and dark thunderclouds interfered with several events in the airshow, and while ground-based attractions were open rain or shine, some flying action was called off on Saturday.
While the forecast for Sunday still calls for clouds and a chance of afternoon showers, the worst of the weekend weather is over.
A total of 26.8mm of rain fell as measured at CFB Trenton on Saturday. The previous rainfall record for June 29 in the region was 22.2, set in 1998.
