Small communities are quieter than big cities but that doesn’t mean they lack for creativity.
Coming in October to a small town movie theatre will be the debut of the Small Town Shorts Film Fest.
Small Town Shorts is a collaborative effort between the Marmora & Lake, Trent Hills, Stirling-Rawdon and Madoc
public libraries.
The event is meant to encourage people to create short films about their communities that will be shown on the big screen at Campbellford’s Aron Theatre Co-op. The film fest will be held October 3.
Filmmakers have until September 5 to submit their creations.
