Northumberland OPP continue to investigate the death of a child last year at a daycare in Hamilton Township.
Police say no further details are being shared at this time in order to protect the integrity of the investigation but that they remain committed to completing a detailed and thorough investigation into the details surrounding the death which happened May 25, 2023.
The Northumberland OPP Crime Unit and the Central Region Forensic Identification Services (FIS) are investigating with assistance from Central Region OPP Regional Support Team, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner.
