OPP jurisdictions from across the province, including those locally, will be holding a media briefing on Wednesday, in what they call a staggering investigation.
It is known as Project Aquatic and involves the Ontario Provincial Police and Belleville police along with more than two dozen other police agencies/services across the province.
Members of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet (Project Ice), will hold the briefing Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Officials say they will update media on the perpetrators, the case investigations, and discuss how they are supporting survivors.
Quinte News will be covering the briefing and will provide details later Wednesday.
